My name is Sean Shuter and I recently joined the SEOButler team as Editor-in-Chief.
I have been writing about business and culture for over 20 years. Highlights include writing a weekly column for Entrepreneur and a three-year stint as a contributor for Vogue/Style.com.
I also have a long history as an entrepreneur. I founded my first business in New York City in 1996 and watched the first dot-com boom (and bust) firsthand.
Subsequently, I founded and operated companies in NYC, Tokyo, London, and Cape Town.
A nomad before they were digital, I’ve lived and worked on four continents. I’ve seen the laptop lifestyle evolve from a novelty to the norm for many entrepreneurs and businesses.
My goal is to leverage my experience and editorial skills to take the SEOButler blog to the next level.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be ramping up the volume and quality of the content we publish.
Jonathan, our founder, will be contributing a monthly “rant” where he sounds off on a wide range of issues facing digital marketers and entrepreneurs.
I’ll also be writing a monthly column—the first being The ROI of Great Customer Service.
For those of you looking for the skinny on SEO and digital marketing know-how, there’ll be no shortage of technical content. First up is Badass SEO: Automate Screaming Frog, by Jarod Spiewak.
The blog will also feature quarterly long reads on a variety of topics. The first of these: The Definitive Guide to Life as a Travelpreneur is almost ready to go live. We’ve drawn on the hard-won wisdom and experience of the entire SEOButler team for this guide.
Whether you dream of one day travelling the world while running your own business—or you’re a seasoned digital nomad—the guide is sure to offer new insights and inspiration.
Alongside the contributions from our team, we’re recruiting some of the best minds in digital marketing to write for us.
Have a topic you’d like to see us cover or an idea for a post you’d like to pitch? Feel free to reach out to me personally: [email protected]
Watch this space for actionable, informative, and above all else, inspiring content in the days to come.
